Nail Colour Trend for Spring

I really agree with article. I like doing this effect on my toes cause i like to make my feet look longer then wider. and i believe this works.

Some of you may remember that back in February, Andrea predicted that wearing nail polish that blends into your skin tone would be kind of a big thing because 1) It's super easy to pull off and 2) It's elongating (meaning slimming) because it makes your arms and legs look just a hair longer. Well, it appears she was right...

...because I've been noticing this a lot recently on the red carpet.

Here's Demi Moore's tan pedi:

And here's one I spotted on Scarlett Johansson:

And then there was this look on Thandie Newton which also falls into the matching-your-toes-to-your-shoes trend:

Now, as you can see with this trend, you can either go for a full-on match or just something similar to your skin tone. Just depends on your preference and what shades you have handy.

What do you guys think? Loving this idea? Think it looks weird? Been doing this yourself recently?

After you tell me your thoughts, click here for the recipe they used to get a custom-blended shade backstage at Fashion Week.
